zeal 0.7.0: xkbcommon: ERROR: Failed to compile keymap

After compiling zeal 0.7.0 manually with the help of the build instructions I got an error:

xkbcommon: ERROR: Couldn't process include statement for 'us(nodeadkeys)'
xkbcommon: ERROR: Abandoning symbols file "(unnamed)"
xkbcommon: ERROR: Failed to compile xkb_symbols
xkbcommon: ERROR: Failed to compile keymap
[97554:97571:1107/135220.090358:FATAL:xkb_keyboard_layout_engine.cc(640)] Keymap file failed to load: us-nodeadkeys
Trace/Breakpoint ausgelöst

QT 6 bug report: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-101201 (My Ubuntu 22.04 has QT 6.2.4)

Solution: I had two keyboard layouts. Removing one of them got rid of the error.
